Pretty damned awesome. 2 ways it could have been improved:

1. Needed more Gambit.

2. Liev Schreiber was spinechillingly good in the first section. More of his early character development would have been - not nice, but welcome.

Apparently (so the internet tells me) it's the Cambridge Reclaim the Night this Sunday. Is anyone else thinking of going?

Reclaim the night is an excellent idea. Blokes may not be welcome though.

They are for the talks and vigil part, but the march is women-only.

I don't really do Reclaim the Night (general comment now not specific reply!) - walking in a large group is what the fear-mongers tell us to do anyway, and I walk home in the dark on my own at least once a week, and see that as a larger act of defiance. I suppose as an awareness-raising event it's effective though.

X-Men *always* needs more Gambit! And less Rogue.
(as you can tell, an old Gambit/Logan 'shipper)

I thought the lack of Gambit was a subset of a more general weakness. They tried to cram too many mutants into the film, meaning none of them had enough time or development.
