oh they have totally ripped off my theory of "circular science" (basically from undergrad level onwards) everything gets mutated. This came about as I was finding myself incresingly bitter that, having been promised a Biology degree, I was spending most of my time doing Chemistry, theoretical and applied. My conclusion was essentially this webcomic, in reverse.

Psychology is more about Biology
which is more about Chemistry
which is more Physics
which is almost entirely Maths
and at its highest levels, Maths can, at points, get close to Philosophy
...which can arguably tell us a lot about the psychology of the philosophers and the society they lived in.

Of course, my mathematics step may be a little tenuous, particularly asa lot of the mathematicians I knew at uni spent most of their time stoned and talking bollocks...

I've been sayingg this since Uni, too :) Everything comes down to degrees of application of maths, in the end.
