Not much like the book at all, but still magical enough to go onto my "Buy asap" list.

More films should feature Captain Shakespeare. Robert de Niro in a corset & petticoat - what more could anybody ask?

I was enjoying the film, but started to get a little bored and I'd finished my tub of Ben & Jerry's Peace Of Cake when Captain Shakespeare came in and rescued it for me. He gave the film a boot up the bum at the right point. Then he did a makeover on Tristan and the film had my full attention from that point on!

And.... TAKE THAT singing at the end. Bonus!
