I was enjoying the film, but started to get a little bored and I'd finished my tub of Ben & Jerry's Peace Of Cake when Captain Shakespeare came in and rescued it for me. He gave the film a boot up the bum at the right point. Then he did a makeover on Tristan and the film had my full attention from that point on!
Hey - I haven't seen Stardust, but yours is the review and subsequent comments that mean I definitely will do now. *g*
Mostly I've been sent here by moth2fic, cos I hear you're not in Manchester any more, and that you're possibly perhaps kinda interested in places like Duxford (not the village, the more interesting bit *g*). And slash. So I thought I'd wave and say hi from not-far-away-from-you... Oh, and I'm with you about apostrophes, and I have a car that you'd think would be thoroughly rubbish, but is actually excellent. So - *waves*
IWM (http://duxford.iwm.org.uk/) and DAS (http://www.das.org.uk/index.htm). Best bit of the interesting bit was being all harnessed up and climbing on top of this (http://www.das.org.uk/britannia.htm) to try and figure out how to unlock the props - and then seeing an Italian replica triplane do a fly past at nearly the same level.
