No, really. Really. Stop laughing at the back :p

I slipped on the stairs. I have good cat-trained reactions, so I grabbed the bannister as I fell. Instead of going bump, bump, bump down to the bottom like Pooh, I went CRASH, once.

That was 10 days ago, and it still hurts to sit down, lie on my back or put any sort of pressure at all on my coccyx.

It's not the sort of bone you can put into plaster, either.

Arse.

Literally.

I did much the same about 6 months ago, with an extra bounce on two as I was carrying stuff in both hands and couldn't caths a banister.

I had a bruise about a handspan and a half's width across my bum for about 3 / 4 weeks and it hurt. (I'd also twisted my knee so was walking oddly that put extra pressure on my hips too)

If you've not got obvious huge bruises go get it checked out as tou might have done something a bit more serious.
