Well, that was unexpected.

I went nto the office today to sort out a date for going back (12 July, as it turns out). Then I went to Starbucks to get the taste of vending machine coffee-substitute out of my mouth.

Sitting in a squishy armchair, grinning at Jeremy Clarkson's Motorworld and slurping a latte, I didn't expect a nearby American bloke to start talking to me. Nor did I expect his two friends to bring their drinks over & join in our discussion about cars and goth clubs.

Turns out they're visiting a few places in the UK with their band.

"What's it called?" I asked.
"System of a Down. We're playing the MEN Arena tonight."

Blimey.

Oh dear, my age is showing. Not only would I not recognise them, I've never even heard of them. However, I find it very interesting that the girl who thinks she is unattractive and only has a mind, can magnetically pull famous blokes across a room for a chat. (I presume it wasnt an empty room?)
