And this would be why I laugh when people tell me I live in the rough bit of Cambridge.

I shouldn't have been so surprised at how much I prefer living down here, should I?

ETA: Just to point out - I lived half a mile from that shop, and had friends living even closer. I'd moved to Longsight because it seemed better than Moss Side...

Unfortunately, I'm too inured to that sort of thing in that area. I heard about it on the radio & was only surprised it had been so long since the last time.
