I've had a lovely Easter. Harold* is still here, but is behaving himself most of the time. I got to see [livejournal.com profile] louise_lux and [livejournal.com profile] daegaer, and met [livejournal.com profile] toscas_kiss and spent a wonderful day reading extracts of Victorian porn, eating cake, drinking tea, and being scared by blancmange. I had to leave before the blancmange was unveiled, but the pictures have left me torn as to whether that was a good or bad thing. AndI fondled dead frogspawn!

A while ago, I took pity on [livejournal.com profile] dr_wez for apparently having no socks without holes. This is the pair I finished over the weekend; his if they fit, and mine if not :)

Work! Coming back from a week off ill becomes a lot nicer when you're eligible for a pay rise despite only having been there 6 months. I'm not convinced about inflation only being 2.5%, but I got an extra 1% for being good, which more than makes up for it :) *thumbs teeth at EY*

Aaaand now I'm contemplating how to waste all this extra money. Using Amecon as an excuse (although not a very good one, since I doubt I'll manage to dress up as anyone in particular), I've been looking at wigs on eBay. I'm dithering between these four atm:

One
Two
Three
Four

(Or I could be *totally* silly and get a Sanzo wig...)

I *think* I know which I like best, but there's always room for a poll ;)

[Poll #1160347]

ETA: Why? Way to pick the most expensive ones, people!

*Harold is my ongoing lurgy. He started as a cold, then became another cold, then developed into full-blown antibiotic-requiring sinusitis, and has now withered back into a permanent sniffle, with alternating stuffy and sneezing phases. The pharmacist at Boots reckons he's just the tail end of a cold, but (given that he's worst in air conditioned places) I'm beginning to suspect an allergy. He's been with me for so long I felt he deserved a name.

I'd go for one or three... Not like anyone else, it would seem.

You have excellent taste in wigs!

I fell for no. 1 and was dithering betweent that & 3. 4 looks thicker, but more Cher and white than anime silver. 2 - well, if I'm going for a silver wig, I might as well get something really daft!

I actually have a silver wig similar to 3 on order :-)

Ooooooh, pretty!

See my comment to SB above; no. 3 was second choice :)

I'm sorry, but I can't make a judgement on the wigs unless I see them on you, rather than some inanimate dummy. They all look very nice, but it's hard to say which would go best with the shape of your face and stuff.

Well, I'm going for something silly so the silliness distracts from whether or not it suits me :) I *know* I need a fringe, which is why I didn't go for the one-length styles.

Ah, well if silliness is the object of the exercise, I'd go for the Sanzo job :D

Of the others, I like them all except number four, which is a bit too Cher and plasticky looking. It looks like the buildup of static would make your head explode!
