The cold that became another cold that wouldn't go away has become sinusitis. *Not* a chest infection, said the doctor; I'm short of breah because I can't breathe through my nose, and mouthbreathing just isn't as effective.

So I'm on amoxycillin, wanting to sleeeeep and, once again, producing all the snot in the world. I need shares in Kleenex. I just hope it works and I get better this time; I'd really quite like to get back to the gym at some point.

Weekend in York (with flying visit to [livejournal.com profile] nannyo on the way back) was lovely, and I seem to have become a fan of Bleach, Saint Beast, and (somehow) Samurai Champloo. Next time I wonder where all my time goes, remind me of this post. [livejournal.com profile] dark_squall provided everyone with plotbunnies, which resulted in the Bad And Wrong idea of Sanzo in Olivia Newton John's end-of-Grease spandex outfit.

I also started knitting Monkey. Twisted rib = fine. YO2 in one row, which is knitted & knitted through the back loop in the next, = notsomuch. Ah well; I forgot to pack it, so at least I get a chance to calm down before trying again.

Urg! I hope the sinusistis goes away and a day will dawn soon when you are lurgi-free. *hugs*

I certainly hope you're free of it by June, I wouldn't want you snuffling and sneezing all the way through the films at the FFW! :P

Yay for spandex! I don't know who Sanzo is, so mercifully I have no idea how bad and wrong it is to have him/her/it in Olivia Neutron Bomb's Grease outfit.

Sanzo is a Buddhist priest in the manga / anime Saiyuki (an updated version of Monkey). He's not very good at the tradiotional priestly things (baldness, not smoking / drinking / kiling things) but he's still rather hard. And very short tempered.

And male, which makes the wearing of ultra-tight spandex trousers...problematic. Bleeeurch!

How many people have offered to rub Vick on your chest?

My chest is not ill. Below the level of my chin, I feel fine (if tired). Unfortunately, this means I'm drifting around like an oxygen-deprived Lurch, and Vicks rubs won't help at all :(

* snuggle *

Can you still get those cans of oxygen? Would one of them help?

Your chest may not be ill, but rubbing Vicks on it could still have it's benefits...
