...and a meme from Duranorak.
Apr. 21st, 2007 12:37 pmThree of my LJ interests about which she wanted to know more:
Chocolate bottoms
One February, David bought me a chocolate heart lollipop from Thorntons. I think they were in the sale. But tourn it upside down, and it was bottom-shaped; the edges were the right angle for the way hips slope up into a narrow waist, and it had well-defined buttocks, too :)
Plus, chocolate & bottoms are both Good Things, so imagine the synergy of combining them!
Insane angels
Inspired by Tilda Swinton as Gabriel in Constantine. For an atheist, I certainly do love the idea of angels & fallen angels and all that. Then there's GNeil's Murder Mysteries, where "insane" might be stretching things a little, but insanity's only really ending up at a different place from everyone else, given the same set of facts, right?
Insanity changes angels from perfect (boring) beings into fascinating, scary, magnetic creatures. More stories should have them.
Themosexuals
From a conversation with
nannyo. "He's one of them, you know." "They do all sorts of nasty things." "You can't trust them."
Most of the time, They are people I like. Whether it's family talking about pierced & tattooed alternative types, internet liberals talking about company directors, or old-fashioned people talking about homosexuals bringing about the Fall Of Society by getting married, I tend to like them. I quite often find them a lot more attractive than not-them. Hence being a Themosexual :)
You know what comes next :)

Date: 2007-04-21 03:57 pm (UTC)Cardboard boxes have all sorts of uses; they're a multifunctional tool... just watch any episode of the A-Team.
Memoir '44 is a brilliant game - the sort that makes non-gamers go "hey, i really enjoyed playing that." Simple to learn, difficult to master. Just like Settlers of Catan, which is also listed.
As to "pk" I've not idea why that's on my list - either my subconcious has been spodding on it's own or I had a serious brain fart when I put that one in the list.
Just promise me you won't start writing Themosexual angel chocolate-bottomed slashfic.

Peter and Finch's angel has had a personality shift. It seemed a bit obvious and boring to me to have a cheery angel. He says a lot less now, which is helpful to the word-count ;)

Autumn! It is my favourite season. The oppressive heat and glare of the summer is gone, but it's not yet bitterly cold and the relentless Christmas marketing hasn't yet got into full swing. The trees look gorgeous, the sky and light have a certain quality to them that you just don't see any other time of year, things just feel more relaxed. I love Autumn. It's like breathing out after holding my breath for an extremely long time.
