Everyone in the UK firm has just been given a extra 4 days holiday this year - one to be taken either the day before or the day after the August Bank Holiday weekend, and the others to bridge the gap between Christmas & New Year.

I usually get 127 hours, plus 51 for bank holidays (since I don't work Mondays, everything's pro-rated). TBH, I'd rather have more cash, but that's *never* going to happen :(

That's rather fabulous - extra time off is always welcome! From 1st september if I work an extra 1/2 hour a day I get every other friday off (in theory). Sounds good but I just know someone will arrange meetings for me on my 'off' days.

*Nods* Same happens to me on Mondays if I'm not careful, though people are starting to be a bit better about it. i curse the day out paid overtime was taken away!
