Yes, it was only a "Best of". Yes, there were two "Star in a Reasonably Priced Car" segments.
But it was still Top Gear, and they still showed the race to Oslo that prompted me to text
nannyo with the phrase "Theirloveexplodesboats" - which, I think, is the first time I've ever come up with a phrase that's been adopted by a fandom :)
I'd forgotten the "Norwegian Wood" comment, too.
And all that on the same day as seeing James Martin (a "ballroom dancing Romeo who sometimes cooks a bit", apparently) spoon feed James May with Thai crab risotto.
