Oct. 5th, 2005 08:50 amThe problem with getting up early for a 9am meeting1 at work is that my body won't let me forget that I've lost out on an hour of morning sleep2.
It'll be reminding me all day and surreptitiously trying to make me catch up at the most inconvenient moments. If you hear of me being disciplined for falling asleep under my desk, or on the photocopier., you'll know why.
===
1 - I usually work 10-6.30 or thereabouts.
2 - Doesn't matter what time I get to sleep at night; Ii need to be asleep between midnight and 8am to feel even semi-human the next day. Hence "morning sleep".
