I got tagged by at least 2 people, and it's this or reading up on client acceptance procedures:
1. I have only a general idea what colour my hair really is.
2. I was born in Hitchin.
3. If money were no object, I’d drive a DB9.
4. If petrol and availability were no object, I’d drive a Dodge Charger.
5. As it is, I’d settle for a Mark I (original & best) or Mark II (from the year I was born) Ford Capri.
6. I had a crush on Brian May until he married Anita Dobson.
7. My middle name’s Louise. I’m a real life J Lo.
8. I can get recognisable tunes out of any recorder, bassoons, Bflat clarinets, guitars (bass and 6 string) and violins. I’m actually pretty good at playing some of those.
9. I quite often mix up left & right.
10. I passed my full motorbike test, but didn’t get the pass certificate processed. If I wanted to get a bike now, I’d have to retake it.
11. I can stand on one leg, with my eyes closed & not holding onto anything, for at least 5 minutes (then I got bored).
12. I have a younger sister who lives in South London with her husband & a collection of cookbooks.
13. I’m shorter than both my parents.
14. I don’t feel comfortable if I’m not wearing *something* black.
15. I enjoyed seeing the Spice Girls in concert.
16. I cry at Born Free & its sequels.
17. The thought of spelunking scares me.
18. So does the thought of programming / coding / whatever it’s called these days. I might not be able to do it.
19. I’d have plastic surgery if I could afford it. Why diet when surgery’s quicker & less work?
20. I really want a career that interests me, but I’d give it all up to be a lady of leisure who does Good Things for charity in between trips to the gym and shopping.
Go on then,
bursargirl,
cyberpunkgrrl,
redshira, and
royan.

Good thing you're not a driving instructor.

Date: 2005-09-14 04:25 pm (UTC)For 18, if you can write a clear set of directions from location A to location B, you're 50% of the way to being a good programmer.
For 19, bear in mind that if you have fatty tissue removed (which seems to be what you're suggesting) then you just put on the weight whereever you didn't have it removed. Or so my learned colleague Mr TV tells me.
For 20, wouldn't we all, modulo some gender-realignment of the leisure activities?
