Argghh. I have to do Intrastats for HM&R Customs for my work. You should try ringing them up and asking for tarriff codes for various products. It's like talking to deaf people. "SORRY, WHAT WAS THAT? WHAT ITEM CLASSIFICATION?"

Did they perchance do something to upset you? Or (more likely)did they fail to do something?
I thought all govt depts. were like that until I had dealings with the pensions people at the Burnley office, where to my surprise they were courteous, helpful, knew what they were talking about, and expedited all my business with no problems at all in a record time. I were properly gobsmacked!!
