The cricket pitch is somewhat waterlogged at teh moment. It's brought all the worms etc to the surface. How do I know this? Because there are over a hundred assorted corvids, including several teenagers old enough to feed themselves but still incessantly pestering their parents, bouncing around and cackling at each other.

Oh. They've been joined by a small horde of ducks. The geese are beginning to look interested, too. I'm expecting Tippi Hedren any moment now.
