*Gulp*

I had a haircut last night.

1. The red is almost entirely gone from everywhere but my eartails.
2. It's 8 weeks to Squeefest (Eeeee!)
3. So I booked in to be turned into a blonde on 5 July.

That'll give me about a month of *being* blonde, before I go scarlet in time for Amecon. Assuming I don't decide that I love being blonde so much that red can go hang, that is.

Hairdresser is more worried than I am about what'll happen to my eartails. They might end up dirty pink or ginger, and she won't be able to tell until it's too late (unless she does a strand test. Which I said not to bother with, because it's not as if it's going to stop me).

On one hand, it's only hair. It'll grow out, and everyone at work is egging me on.

On the other, holy *crap* what am I going to look like?




(The long term plan, such as it is, is to stay scarlet for a while until it gets old, possibly try chestnut for a while, then go back to bue-black. Blue-black felt *right*.)

mmm....blonde...I always think of you as a sort of Abbey from NCIS. Now when she went blonde (think it was a wig) she looked like Marilyn Monroe...well that woould be interesting! Cant wait to see piccies. Now red tho....yes, I can imagine that on you.

I think whatever you do will look gorgeous if you just cut off the eartails. Not that I am biased against the whole concept of eartails or anything.

Hee, that's just what my hairdresser said! She calls them my comfort blanket, after having had long hair for so long :)

The Plan was to dress up as a specific character (per userpic) at Amecon - the eartails and scarlet were going to be for that, so I didn't need a wig. But now the dressing up is going in a different direction. I'll probably keep them until I go red just to see wht they're like, then trim them back a bit. And thank you!
