A good weekend, overall :) I have stopped Christmas shopping (in that there are a few people for whom I haven't bought anything, but I'd rather send them a random present at a random time than something Just Because It's Christmas). Of course, I haven't actually *sent* any of these presents, but I'm at least a week ahead of where I was last year.

dr_wez took me to B&Q; we got oil and something to fill his crack. Sadly, I overslept and then got overwhelmed with socks, so couldn't help him with it.

I have a first draft of Yuletide. Only 2 1/2 days to go...

My hair now looks dark red; I've had enough cut off that the black is only still there on the very ends of the front and the eartails. New!hairdresser tells me that if I want to go blonde, I need to stop dying it, cos stripping out black & red will leave me ginger instead. Red = good; ginger = been there, done that.

We have to meet up sometime in the New Year. You live around the corner now and I still haven't seen you since you moved to Cambridge. Shame most of the pubs around here are a bit rubbish, really.

Definitely. I hear the Carlton does acceptable food / beer, in an "it won't poison you" way.

Yes, the Carlton is good. The lounge also has really comfortable chairs (at least for sitting, not so much for eating).
