Last night I decided to book a haircut, for a restyle. I've been wearing my hair up so much that it seems pointless to keep it long.

Today, I'm having the Best Hair Day I've had in months.

Humbug.

Hair always does this when you decide to get it cut off. For dead tissue it understands threats surprisingly well.

Usually, it waits until just *after* I've had a trim to have a fit of misbehaving and frizziness; just when it's too soo to want to spend another small fortune on getting it cut *again*.

I'm fond of bobs too, but my hair has a curl that tends to turn chin-length things triangular and icky.

Part of me says "Nooooo, don't let it cut" but another part says "I wonder what she would look like with a cool bob?" For example, cryx' new style looks fantastic.

Ja. I had a simliar delimma. I had long hair forEVER, but it was *always* kept in a braid or bun. When a friend died of cancer recently, I cut it off, and I haven't noticed much difference. As soon as it grew out long enough, back into the braid and ponytail it went. [sigh]
