More Bad Mood

I love cats, I really do.

I don't particularly like them when at least four decide to hold an impromptu concert in my garden at three in the morning. Jasper sat on the windowsill and growled along for a bit, but gave up & went back to sleep.

Even the mating foxes were quieter than that.

Yeah, we have several neighbourhood cats who seem to like having their turf-wars and amorous assignations on the wall below our living-room window. What a bloody racket!

Cat yowl-fests are rare around here. I swear, the HOA must require all alley cats to be de-meowed and only prowl between 3am and 4:30am. And only then if they wear Elven Boots of Silence and don't walk on the grass. There aren't even any bugs around here. I'm sure I'll get cancer from all the chemicals they apply. But I rent, so I have no voice.
