Squee!

ahem.

Yes, very good. I might have squeaked when he walked past the Bridgewater Fountain, it being visible from the office.

Bearing in mind I haven't watched it all (and intend to remedy that), I have one question. He seems to be my sort of age, i.e. born mid Seventies. So why doesn't he remember / not remember music from the era? I know what nos. 1 & 2 were the week I was born; wouldn't he? What about taking advantage of gambling? Put a bet on John Lennon being killed in 1980, ABBA winning the 1974 Eurovision etc?

Now I'm off to listen to Bowie :)

ETA: Yarn Harlot has the best pictures. The particular one I mean is called "Jacob's great shirt" - you'll know it when you see it :)

His "contemporary" self is 4 years old in 1973. He remembers some things, (like Red Rum winning the Grand National, which was in season 1, or the history of the IRA) but doesn't have a great deal of personal knowledge of the time.

I think it was the fact that he DIDN'T do any of those things that made me believe for a while that DCI Frank Morgan was telling the truth and that Sam really was from 1973. Has he ever used specific furture knowledge for anything useful? I'm not sure that he has - which is something that can mislead in all sorts of directions!
