Assuming the change in LJ colours was actually necessary, at least they've gone for a slightly more realistic heart look than is usually used by Hallmark. Hearts do tend to be more pinky-purple than bright red, after all.

I much prefer the subtle change on the Google main page because you can have chocolate covered strawberries all by yourself. It's not as much fun but it works.

Anyway, of all the human organs that get involved with emotion and lurve and all that, I fail to see why the heart always takes the limelight.

It should be brains, if we're being optimistic, or all the pink hairy bits if we're being realistic.

Maybe less people would buy Valentine cards if they had such pictures on them?
