raggedhalo's idea of trying something in February (although probably not for the same reasons). I reckon Feb sucks at the best of times, so I might as well load up some more suckage in the hopes that it'll get lost in the mire, and then I'll come out the other end having benefitted from it.
What can I give up? Somehting that'll make a difference, but not take over my life.
