Laste week was, as you may have guessed, mostly work with small amounts of sleep and pizza. I managed to read LJ but didn't have the energy to reply to much, so I probably owe several people either replies or well wishes.

Saturday, I slept a lot and saw Severance, which even in hindsight I think was fab.

Sunday & Monday, I investigated an Alternative Career Possibility by being [livejournal.com profile] nannyo's supposedly glamorous assistant at Blackpool Zoo. Sadly, I didn't get up close & personal with anything furry & befanged, but I did get to covet the lemurs, watch a Siberian tiger inhale several rabbits, go on a dinosaur hunt with Doctor Croc, and collect quite a bit of money for Wildlife Vets International in between doing the HMRC/CITES WTF were you thinking trying to import this? talk. Somehow, I avoided getting my face painted.

Lots of fun; wonderful company; rather too much Small Child Interaction for me to consider it as a valid career option (the one I got on with best was autistic, bright and Made Sense; most of the rest needed a good smack).

This week is more work, although not such ridiculous hours (apart from working Tuesday, which should have been my extra Bank Holiday).

[livejournal.com profile] daegaer - thank you, your parcel arrived! I shall look forward to watching it ALL and forgetting to eat this weekend :)

that little boy was lovely, even nicer cos he came to say thank you at the end, and told us he loved us!

Alli Gator and Carmen the Caiman strike again.

We should have built a Transformatron and set it to turn all the little brats into clones of him.
