I would be bemoaning my lot and the horrors of work, were it not for the lovely squishy feeling of schadenfreude surrounding me at the moment.

I'm really not as nice as people seem to think. unfortunately, I'm nice enough (or possibly just lazy) that I've never taken advantage of this.

Work = still horribly busy & stressful (hence me being Avoidant on LJ).

Me = working last Monday (my day off) and yesterday (the extra day holiday we were given a week or two ago), with no immediate prospect of being able to catch up.

Other person #1 = having to work instead of 2 days of his hliday, *and* having to come back from New York 2 days earlir than originally planned next week for a training course.

Other person #2 = back from holiday today to rejoin the horribleness of this job and not having the time to take it slowly & avoid re-entry burns.

Me = revelling in schadenfreude ;D

Well, that doesn't make you not nice, it jusT makes you human. Especially if persons 1&2 are people you don't like very much! :D

Well, they're accountants. It's hard to have strong feelings about accountants.
