Of the GP variety; I don't want dr_wez to become all pustulent & oozy, after all.

I faxed through a repeat prescription request on Wednesday, explaining the lack of tablets and my incipient running outness. There's a 2 day lag between requesting & receiving; the notice on the wall of the surgery states clearly that requesting a prescription on Wednesday will meann it's available on the Friday.

So I'm late into work today (and wasting time on LJ, natch) because of dropping into the surgery - which only opens at 8.30 - and being told that I'll have to come back after 2pm. Which isn't stated anywhere.

Gah.

I'm starting a campaign for "gaylord fockers" to become one of the most used tags on LJ. vulgarcriminal, you could have started a trend. This time next year, all the cool kids will be doing it.

Actually, I'll add a pox on top of yours for GP Practice Managers. The GPPM at my surgery has a serious attitude problem.

I'm convinced they make up these rules as they go along.

They're actually very nice & helpful, unlike the ones at every other surgery I've ever been to. Unfortunately, if the doctor hasn't printed the prescription, there's nothing they can do.
