Help! Help! I'm trapped in darkest Yorkshire! nannyo made me get up before 8am on a Monday and is making me work!

Its going to get even prettier if the snow and blizzards they're forecasting arrive as planned. Unfortunately i'm across the border in darkest Lancs. and its absolutely bloody freezing and damp here with the sound of determined rain on the window. I'm trying not to look as it was all sleety earlier and it will just make me feel colder. Told at school this morning that if the threatened weather arrives I will be phoned before 8.15 and told not to go in. Hurrah, could be a short week and then I could go and throw snowballs at the ducks in the park!!

At least you're not in Cambridge, where it's wet, cold, windy and flat and dull.

Thought for the day: what do ducks shout at each other when people are throwing snowballs at their heads?
