[livejournal.com profile] mrmmarc: Top five songs you would rather not anyone know you like. A lot.

Harder than it sounds; I'm proud of my abysmal taste in music :p

1. Dolly Parton - Jolene.
2. The Spice Girls - Spice Up Your Life.
3. Westlife - You Raise Me Up.
4. Glenn Campbell - Rhinestone Cowboy.
5. Meatloaf - Bat Out Of Hell.

I could go on. And on, and on...

When [livejournal.com profile] munchkinott eats cheese before bedtime, she gets to dream about nekkid!Jameseses. I get dreams of RAF gliders crashing over Sharpenhoe Clappers, finding the radar module (and several unexplained but essential large glass spikes) in the grass, and bartering with them in a very LotR-style village market for more, better cheese. Thre's self-awareness for you - even in my dreams, I know that my dreams aren't as good as I'd hoped for.

I've trained my mind, y'see. You can't tell, but it is trained. Really. It is.

During the big New Age Thang of the mid-ninties when everyone was into trances and meditiation and all that crystal-dangling jazz.

Ok, so I use this power of a supremely trained mind capable of extensive, intensive, subject focus with a little bit of cheese to get verrrrrrry vivid images of nekkid!Jamseseseses making the ultimate gin, no-tonic, plus lime served on a bed of bed... It's a powers-for-good kinda thing. *cough*

Really. It is. *cough*

Ah... Wichita Linesman gets me more than Rhinestone Cowboy...
That is TRUELY awful taste you have there. But you add the Spice Gilrs?
Like it is not normal to LOVE the Spice Girls and their catchy, yet meaningful, tunes.

hey- I once worked with the only DJ in existance who got away with playing the full 17 minutes (or however long it took) of 'I would do anything for love, but I won't do that' by Meatloaf, at a nightclub.

Wanna know the weird thing.
Yhe'dou start it- and he would CLEAR the floor (no shit, huh!)
17 minutes later- the floor is going feckin' INSANE and the mob ALWAYS ended up appluading!

I never doubted again.

Well I would have had most of those on my list of "well, SORREE, but I like them" but I suppose the top of my list would have to be "Honey" closely followed by Bette Midler's version of "TheRose" cos they always make me cry. I know, I've got Lousy taste, but there it is. As long as no-one puts "Deck of Cards" on their list I wont have to kill anybody!!
