Just a quickie; on my way out via non-LJers to meet [livejournal.com profile] vulgarcriminal and her posse; feeling fat & orrible; reminding myself how much is in circumstance & lighting & attitude.

Me, drunk, only old eyeliner, no photo processing, no special setup.

Me, medium face, nice lighting, posed & taken by Man With Talent.

Look here when feeling orrible & grotty.

Am I going to get battered for saying that (at least facially) I think you look better in the first one?

*Looks sceptical*
You sure it's not just the stripy top?

Nope, I wouldn't dare batter you :p Besides, it's Evidence that it's as much in the observer as it is the subject and setup.

You sure it's not just the stripy top?

That might be something to do with it, but I think it's more the facial expression. You look more... more like you're having a good time.

And you have to bear in mind my firm opinion that less make-up = good.

Ok. You're gorgeous.

And before you say you're not - you bloody well ARE! The first pic has that 0.3 seconds before crashing out in a fit of gigglesness about it and the second pic has the 0.3 seconds of what happens AFTER crashing out in a fit of gigglesness about it.

That's what gorgeousness is. It's a pic with a smile.

And if you need me, I'll be up a corner and breathing into a paper bag over my self-image perceptions.

That's such a lovely thing to say :) Thank you!

Unfortunately, logic plays no part in self-image :/

I like both.
The first is just you and the second is you posing for the camera in a nice outfit. In addition, your pretty eyes are a lot more obvious in the first one whereas in the second you, er, other features distract from the face. ;o)

Thanks :)

You've spoiled me :p Now I know I *can* look good in pictures, I'm disappointed when I get a traditionally average one. Plus, alcohol stops me remembering how to sit to hide my less attractive "features".

Oh, you seem to be adding notes to your flickr photos instead of descriptions.
On the photo page, just click on the line below the photo (should highlight in yellow) and type it in. Works for the title, too.

What part of "you are much with the yumminess" is failing to edit your system registry?

I'm mechanical, not computerised :p

I'm also rather emotonally high-maintenance. I'm getting better, but still need regular top-ups with reassurance.

But thank you :)

*Grins* I'd sell my soul for a ride in the Tardis. Unfortunately, I'd probably try to take it apart to see how it worked, too.

No no no no no. There shall be no disassembling of my TARDIS primarily because if there were any disassembling of my TARDIS, there would almost certainly be no correct reassembling of my TARDIS. Spare parts for a Type 80 TT aren't as hard to come by as spare parts for the Doctor's Type 40 TT, but I'd have to track down Drax to have the repairs made, and I don't fancy doing that.

But if you're nice, I'll have the chameleon circuit make it look like a purple Bugatti.
