1. What's the first word that comes to mind when you think of me?
2. Go to http://images.google.com/ and search for that word.
3. Reply to this post with one of the pictures on the first page of results (don't tell me the word).
4. Put this in your own blog if you're feeling playful.

ETA: Taken from [livejournal.com profile] littlekitsch, and I'll leave you a picture if you leave me one :)

ETA2: Dammit, I am not going to View Source. If it kills me. But good grief, I'm intrigued! Pink? Fruity? Slightly orange golf ball? Wet & green? Gah!

I'll be doing Strawberry Fair again, definitely :)

Despite running on Goth Time, I didn't leave [livejournal.com profile] nannyo waiting at Doncaster station. This is A Good Thing, becasue Doncaster in general is Horrible and as little time as possible shoudl be spent there.

The A1 roadworks only delayed us slightly, we collected someone without an LJ (gasp!) from Peterborough (where we did unusual stretching exercises for the entertainment of any watching CCTV cameras) and managed to get to [livejournal.com profile] professoryaffle and [livejournal.com profile] rms's before falling asleep.

Despite intending to spend No Money an anything (except beer), I managed to buy a turquoise & purple hole with bits of cardigan knitted through it and a black canvas dress with Interesting Zips ([livejournal.com profile] karohemd has a picture, along with a stupendous shot-from-the-hip one), though trying it on over trousers & a tshirt does rather lose the effect.

[livejournal.com profile] raggedy_man and I got collared by the BBC for a photo opportunity, so we may well be on the bbc.co.uk website in due course. Scandal shall, no doubt, abound (it's on the BBC! It must be true!).

Also met [livejournal.com profile] redshira again who loops the friends loop by going out with [livejournal.com profile] royan. Most excellent hair :) And saw a set by a disturbingly young band called Assembly (I swear, only one of them was old enough to shave). The bassist managed not only to play well with a plectrum but, when guitarist ~1 droped his, passed it over & continued, fingerpicking. Too, too, talented.

The drunken Londoners were interesting. Despite yelling obscenities at passers by. I didn't expect to be asked "Are you a ghost?", "Are you a Mormon?", "Are you 34?" and "Are you 17?" within the same 5 minutes. Nor did I expect to be told a story about a woman who had a brick strapped to her head to stop her using her powers of Witchcraft (apparently, the Drunken Men wanted to steal the brick, but it was too big to carry off. No wonder it stopped her using witchcraft, if it really was *This Big*.)

Managed to stagger back to [livejournal.com profile] cabd's for a Most Excellent barbecue and Unexpectedly Powerful homebrew. More unexpected [livejournal.com profile] redshira, decided I want Wez (also no LJ, so might not really exist) to be turned into a cushion cover, didn't *quite* manage to prevent [livejournal.com profile] nurse_liz from replying to texts from [livejournal.com profile] minspi on my phone...

I'm not *entirely* sure I was sober by the time [livejournal.com profile] professoryaffle made pancakes in the morning, but they tasted nice anyway. And I managed to find a train back from Doncaster within quarter of an hour of being dropped off there, so that was also Good.

So, yes. Very good fun, took all yesterday to recover, didn't manage to talk to [livejournal.com profile] fire_kitten as much as I wanted, but overall would repeat in an instant :)
