I've been doing... stuff recently. Edited highlights include scoring 20 balls of half price Debbie Bliss Stella in Jade in the John Lewis sale, a quiet but good New Year's Eve with professoryaffle, rms, cabd and elliphant, having New Year's Lunch (like Christmas lunch, but a week late) with the Parent People and Dad not misbehaving, getting my car washed & falling in love with it all over again, going to the pub with razornet last night and managing to disagree completely about some quite serious things, and yet not let it spoil the evening, and being sent this link (sfw) by Mum.

Bad Stuff would be the panic attack in Debenhams on New Year's Eve; for some reason, I could deal with the possibility of seeing davywavy, but not with having it confirmed. Sorry I didn't make it, robinbloke, and thank you to faerierhona for talking me down. *One* day, I might get better :(

It's lovely & fresh outside, but not cold enough to snow yet.

Years of emotional abuse will do that to a person. The subconscious tends to react like unto a mouse presented with an open-mouthed anaconda, and who can blame it for its sense of self-preservation?

I like to think that I would react maturely and rationally if presented with the idea of meeting crag_du, but given that coming unprepared across his name or picture still sends me into fits of frothing hysteria, I'm probably fooling myself.
