Watch Final Fantasy: Advent Children.

Once I'd started thinking "magic" instead of "But that's breaking the laws of physics!", it was very pretty indeed :) I only really have one two main complaints:

1) WTF?

2) Too little Sephiroth. Lose the children & have more pretty bad guy, kplsthx.

(Course, this means I'll be able to read more springkink stuff...)

But yes, more Sephiroth would have been good. I liked how he got his own theme music :)

Very true. I dedicated around 60 hours of my life to playing Final Fantasy VII and the movie was still, "WTF? ... Ooh, shiny! ... WTF? ... Mmmmm, pretty! ... WTF?"

Heh. knew nothing about FF7 when I watched AC except that my flist seemed to be writing a lot of fic for it and everyone in it was very pretty. I was surprised and disappointed to find out that Rude and Reno were not the main characters. No one on my flist even mentioned Cloud!

I blame springkink and telophase's pencil drawing of Cloud reflected in Sephiroth's sword. HMV's sale was simply a happy coincidence :)

I've got this on DVD but haven't watched the whole thing yet. I watched about the first ten minutes then realised that it had been a very long time since I played FFVII, because I had absolutely no clue what the hell was going on!

As you say though, very pretty.
