Before the next load arrive (and I swore I wasn't going to get hooked...).

Love Potions: MUSE
A light, invigorating floral and citrus blend. Tuberose, lotus and jasmine with a hint of lime.

Sherbert lemons. That's it.

Voodoo Blends: COME TO ME
A phenomenally powerful attractant. Sexual and commanding in the extreme.

If I'd paid money for this I'd be pissed of in the extreme. Haze air freshener, from a generic pinky purple can.

Diabolus: HELLCAT
A soft, sensual, luxuriant blend with a wicked bite: hazelnut, buttercream, honey mead, rum and sweet almond.

Very sweet; the buttercream is clear. There's something sweetly alcoholic - it's more like a sticky than rum, though. I can't tell the hazelnut from the almond, but there's definitely something nutty. Nice, but too sweet, really.

Dark Elements: INFERNO
The Dark Side of Fire: cinnamon, bitter almond, and neroli. Heavily spiced, torrid, and possibly conflagrant.

Started off smelling like simnel cake. Incredibly marzipanny, but within half an hour had turned into Big Red chewing gum / Fireball jawbreakers, etc. Basically, pure cinnamon. The neroli never stood a chance.

I'm quite interested in 'Come To Me', mostly because it's got such drastically different reviews from different people. [profile] slappersire found it really quite effective, whereas you and [profile] lanfykins seem to have just not gotten anything out of it. One thing [profile] slappersire did say what that it wasn't so much the scent that did it for her as much as the effect it seemed to have on the men around her.

Maybe it's worth wearing for a night out and seeing if it picks up others without your assistance?

Muse: sure it wasn't pear drops? :)

I entirely agree with you about Come To Me, though. It's put me off the entire Voodoo range, not to mention ever again trying something when I don't know what's in it...

Cinnamon really does seem to be a note that only works for a few people. Enraged Groundhog Musk (forum-only limited edition! woe!) did that to me - cinnamon Aftershock with a faint undertone of rancid butter.
