(Something Is Up. In the 2 minutes it took to spread this out, fetch the camera & take the picture, no cats appeared in the middle of it. They must be Planning Something.)

Yup, straight off the needles, then spread out to almost-flat on the carpet.

It looks as if lace *will* hold its shape; the pattern in the edging (mainly yarn over & psso) is fairly clear atm, and isn't going too floppy.
