- One (one!) client actually sending us exactly what we need, two days after being asked for it, when he had to get the documents sent over from Korea. Granted, they're in Korean, but he's marked the important bits.

- A pint of Starbucks extra-shot skinny latte in the morning makes everything better.

- My hair's long enough now that I can plait it and it'll stay plaited without needing a hairband. Bits come loose, but only enough to look artfully tousled.

- Re-watching Weiss Kreuz on YouTube and making oodles of screencaps. Aya smiles more often than you'd think, and Yohji's glasses are *just* as evilly shiny as Crawford's.

Can anyone explain why Pootle didn't bat an eyelid at the fireworks last weekend, but spent 10 minutes running away from her tail last night?

Cat's aren't stupid! They merely exist on a higher plane of reality. That's how they can see the invisible gnomes.

Greeblings. Greeblings are what live under the rug when it's laid flat on the floor. Sometimes they chase cats in from the garden & up stairs. They wear big clompy boots (because everyone knows cats's move silently...).

No, cats are stupid. Wat that says about cat owners who believe this sort of thing is another matter...

We merely exist on a higher plane of reality.

They aren't stupid, so much have very small, very focussed brains.

"Barking mad" might be a better description of her (especially since she "wuff"'s at me more often than mews).

Ah, my cat is terrified of fireworks, so when she hears them she runs outside. Never quite worked that one out...

O.o

Yes. Only cats. Thing is, Pootle always used to be scared of bonfire night (the people, the noise, the fire, the fireworks, the whole thing). I think she forgot this year.

Close. She's small & fairly crap, but cute in her own little way.

My brother in law has a friend called Pootle...
