Excolo - NYX
Named in honor of the primeval Greek Goddess of Night. A scent reflecting inky black skies and eternal desolation. Night-blooming jasmine, warmed by myrrh, lifted by the promise of rose.
Jasmine. Slightly soapy (possibly the rose, based on what Whip did on me), then jasmine. A rather chemical version, but wearable.
Bewitching Brews - VELVET
Envelop yourself in the soft, sensual embrace of gentle sandalwood warmed by cocoa, vanilla and a veil of deep myrrh.
Oooh, chocolate & sandalwood, quickly fading to chocolate cake. Not sure where the myrrh went. Not very strong, but nice enough.
Bewitching Brews - BRIMSTONE
In Hermetic alchemy, brimstone is one of the Three Heavenly Substances, one of the primary alchemical Priciples. It represents the strength of will and the vigor of passion, and it is a symbol of the process of fermentation. A smoky, gritty blend, husky and gray.
Fresh tarmac. Sharp, with an oily undertone; I'd expect this to be warm & sticky to the touch if I found a bowl of it. Sadly too sharp for me.
Still nothing as good as Laudanum. SB hates my Rufus Sewell juice.
We love the Top Gear. Please could someone who knows America better than I do tell me they exaggerated & spun the Alabama bit?
