Colinette order

I'm caving in & joining the knitting craze.

Would anyone would like to join in with a Colinette order? Let me know here (comments are screened, in case it's for a present).

ETA: Paypal works, as does cash if I'm likely to see you. Cheques get forgotten about. I'll order on Friday 9th - a week tomorrow.

Ah, now I totally see the appeal! Where can I find a knitting pattern for a V12 engine?!

Fantastic idea!

What could we knit caravans out of to make destroying them fun?

ye-s. Between you posting this post and now I have been thinking avout knitting engine components. I've seen knitted wombs and soft toy STD's so why not knitted spark plugs or flappy paddle gear boxes?

I bet someone already has...

*goes off to check*

This is frightening and looking at it closely, rather badly designed:

A LJer suggests steel wool (actually I know an artist who knits with large metal cables so if you were wanting to commission a knitted car..)

other than that, nope, no knitted engines that I can find. I did stumble on a Prius dating service though.

Is this a service for Priusses to date each other, or for people to date them? I can't begin to imagine what the offspring would be like...

A link to send to TG, possibly!
