This Lurgy.

Lemsip doesn't touch it.

Day Nurse helps, but I'm still sniffing more than a small child.

Power tools, on the other hand, are so much fun that I don't care any more :D

(Yes, they're even more fun than shoe shopping. Hold the front page.)

Have you tried Beechams All In One (http://www.beechamsfightback.co.uk/images/packShots/products-allIn1_liquidINFO.jpg)? I normally don't think any of these things really work but I had a horrendous bout of flu last year and this was a godsend. Allowed me to sleep at night and everything. :)

I have - it works, but not quite as well as Day Nurse (for me). They both have paracetamol, but DN has pseudoephedrine hydrochloride while all in one has phenylephrine hydrochloride.

If I have 2 colds close together, I usually take DN for one & AllIn One for the other :)

Have you tried Cilip Bang?

No! Perhaps I should!

Consider Beechams Day and Night tablets, very high levels of Paracetamol so you have to be weary but they seem to do the business for me.

what are you up to with power tools? Does it involve destruction? And fire?

Circular sawing up R&L's old doors so C&E could claim the doorhandles :) Very Good Fun, even if the sawdust didn't congeal the snot the way I hoped it would!

Depends what you are looking for, Day and Night Nurse usually nail the thing. That and plenty of orange juice and sleep. Seems to be the season for colds.

Power tools are great. I want a new drill :D

I hope you're not shoving power tools up your nose. Becuase while that may temporarily relieve the lurgi symptoms, I'm worried about the long-term effects.
