Why are you selling?

Friend is selling her Alfa, and it turns out I *can* get insurance for a soft-top in Stockport :)

OMG OMG OMG!!!

You're going to buy Py's Alfa??? And there's a chance I might get to go for a ride in it?

If I can sell my Mazda, I'll be doing my utmost to get that Spider :)

You're going for it, after all? Whee! Good luck!

BTW, remind me to take a better picture of your ear cars this weekend.

Ooh eck :/ I was in a mad panic to sell my last car to buy Alfie :( at that time she was an overheating car that hadn't been driven for 6 months and I still wanted her...but then I am mad.

Well if you do manage to sell your car I'd be more than happy for you to have my baby :) but have her alarmed!! She comes with original handbook (in italian) and a english copy and a huge great workshop manual. Have you got a driveway? that'll bring down insurance costs - as a hint Adrian Flux are very very competitive insurers

Oooh eck indeed! I have a driveway (well, an allocated parking space off road in the square), and the Confuseddotcom quotes look as if I'll be able to pay for an alarm with what I save on the policy :)

I'll come down from £4,200, but have to start somewhere ;)

Don't sell your car!!!! I've had a last minute beneficiary

Oh god :s

I'm so sorry I feel a bit of a twat now. I've had a complete emotional wreckfest this evening and man in my house has said I'm not to sell my car. After this weekend and stuff too, it's been horrible. I can't get rid of my baby :( He's going to help me financially if it means I can keep her. I love her so much and you know I don't want to sell her. I'm really glad I don't have to sell her I've put so much time and energy into her, she's a real labour of love. HOWEVER if you still want an Alfa as much as I love mine, and I think you do then sell your car (don't undersell it) and we'll find you a really good spider, there are lots around and cheaper than mine too. Waddaya reckon?

Sounds perfect for both of us :) We both get to shop lots and go test driving, and I can hold on for a hard top.

Fabulous!

(Still selling mine though - I have a feeling it could take a while...)
