The difference between your shot and mine is that mine is a tiny crop out of a full face portrait (I completely forgot to actually take one of your ear cars).
Canon Ixus' are some fine cameras indeed for their size.

I just had a silly idea. Try taking a photo like this, then swap the two earrings, take another photo and then make an animated gif out of the two and you do have a car jumping through a hoop. ;o)
