Of yesterday (and the small, and notsosmall, hours of this morning)

Mmmm, Captain Jack ;) Now surnameless in the credits, which is rather good, since "Harkness" to me is the large rose breeder just outside Hitchin.

Mmmm, David "I look like Richard Hammond" Tennant ;)

Er - was I the only one to think, following the "Daleks are made of matter from old humans" revelation, Zombies!. Mmmm, Zombie daleks...

Good grief, it's like breathing soup today. Last night was worse; hanging out first in an RPG shop (though mainly on the street outside, to the interest of several passing motorists) and then in Jilly's Rockworld. Found I can dance *properly* to Rammstein in my wonderful eBay bargain corset, although my chin tends to bounce off my boobs rather disturbingly.

{tangent - it's raining!}

Had 4 people offer eternal love because I'd taken a fan along :) Got Danced At by pretty glam men :) Went home and spent an hour or so swapping texts with [livejournal.com profile] minspi, who was getting amusingly plastered in Dublin. Couldn't get to sleep til the sun came up.

Think I'll go & stand in the rain now.

I wish it was raining here...

It's made things *slightly* better. It's less like breathing soup, and more like snorkelling through consomme.

I could still feel myself burning during a 10 minute drive through factor 50, though.

yesterday and the weather

It was unbearable at about that time yesterday wasnt it? I stood in my now beautiful yard in the rain for a few minutes which was great. This morning is gorgeous outside and I have already dried one load of washing in the ginnel. (The yard is now my garden and no longer to be used for hanging clothes!!) Had a lovely evening with FK where she taught me yet more things about Word and CVs on the pewter. Gather she's meeting you for lunch. Have a good one! Hope maybe will c u sometime next week if I am not working again.

Give me a day or two's warning about lunch & it should be fine :)

Ah, the plastered [livejournal.com profile] minspi he was very entertaining the next day, when he was recovering memory and looking like he might die of embarassment... Wez was taunting the poor boy.

I wanted to be evil but couldn't think of anything to claim he'd said... Ah well, there's bound to be a next time!

Unless you have any scandalous gossip to pass on?

the most entertaining thing is that he always feels like he has been scandalous, and to the rest of us, he hasn't so much been scandalous as a cheery entertaining drunk!

Wez apparently has behaved in an amazing and entertaining way, but he only told the anecdote to Mup who won't pass it on... argh! The gossip hound has scented a good story, but can't dig to it, how frustrating.
