So. Sleepy.

What would you tell the you of twenty years ago...? (12 years old)

You'll get yelled at whether you do well or badly. You might as well do well, then at least you'll have good marks.

What would you tell the you of ten years ago...? (22 years old)

GET INTO THERAPY NOW. Also, buy a different house, but mainly GET THE DEPRESSION FIXED BEFORE YOU TRY TO KILL YOURSELF.

What would you tell the you of five years ago...? (27 years old)

Leave him. Leave now and don't look back. He's damaging you more than you will think possible. Having the Samaritans on speed dial is a *bad sign*.

What would you tell the you of two years ago...? (30 years old)

Stick with the MSc. It's a lot on top of going back to work, and dealing with Mum's cancer, but it's interesting.

What would you tell the you of a year ago...? (31 years old)
No, you aren't ready to go out with anyone yet. That's not going to happen for a very long time. Get used to it, adn stop trying to force things.

What would you tell the you of a month ago...?

Remeber that big houses are always very cold. Pack all your jumpers, and a hot water bottle or two, for the Wheelie Weekend.

What would you tell the you of a week ago...?

Your back hurts because it isn't used to you cleaning the kitchen floor. Take paracetamol and stop worrying.

What would you tell the you of a day ago...?

EAT FOOD. Skipping tea when you've been clearing out a scout hut in Oldham, up a track that a Defender in high-torque 4WD couldn't manage, has used up all your reserves. This is why you can't get warm. EAT FOOD and DRINK TEA, and you might be able to sleep without needing the heating on all night.

Yes, I'm cold and tired and feel as if I've been eating all day. Sausage has been super-snuggly, I've finished one side of the frill on Mum's cardigan and attached the sleeve on that side, and done nothing else other than poke LJ in the hope of having a conversation fall out.

The BPAL swaps are packaged up & ready to post once I get some suitable stamps.

If people are into drawing, where do you go for photo references? My fingers are itching to draw again, but I need something to copy, at least for poses.

My little sister is 30 today. I'm going to start giving my age in hex.
