Killing time

Our tax software is crashing repeatedly for one of my clients. Until it's fixed I can do nothing.

Except surf LJ, drink vending machine coffee and wish for a new head.

I'm full of cold today. Lemsip hasn't made a dent in it; nor did gong for a shamble yesterday and having a nice spicy pasta sauce for tea. (I cooked! Well, for my definition of cooking, which involved stirring a tin of tuna into a jar of ready made sauce.)

Am meeting Many Female People tomorrow for a day of drinking shoptails. Or maybe cocking. I'm not yet sure. vulgarcriminal, are you coming?

Mum's getting a delivery of Knitting Stuff from the Edinburgh Freecyclers. She replied to an "I have Many Patterns" post and asked on my behalf for 50s / 60s Sweater Girl styles, and got a couple of offers of "pointy-booby" jumpers :) Sounds perfect :)

Have a good time this weekend. BTW try beef gravy with lots of onions in it. Full of Vitamin C so should attack the cold, but if not its lovely and comforting anyway.
